1. भारत जेन: मल्टीमॉडल लार्ज लैंग्वेज मॉडल

मुख्य बिंदु(Key Highlights):

• केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. जितेन्द्र सिंह ने ‘भारत जेन’ नामक मॉडल लॉन्च किया।

• यह भारत का पहला स्वदेशी और सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त मल्टीमॉडल एलएलएम है।

• इसे भारतीय भाषाओं के लिए विशेष रूप से विकसित किया गया है।

• यह पाठ, ध्वनि और छवियों जैसे मल्टीमॉडल डेटा को समझ और उत्पन्न कर सकता है।

• इसका विकास भारत जेन मिशन के तहत किया गया है।

• उद्देश्य: AI तकनीक को भारतीय भाषाई समुदायों तक पहुँचाना।

2. ईएसआईसी द्वारा SPREE योजना 2025 शुरू

मुख्य बिंदु(Key Highlights):

• कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम (ESIC) ने SPREE योजना 2025 की शुरुआत की।

• SPREE का पूरा नाम है – Simplified Process for Registering Employers and Employees.

• इस योजना का उद्देश्य है नियोक्ताओं और कर्मचारियों के पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया को सरल और डिजिटल बनाना।

• इसे ईएसआईसी की 196वीं बैठक (शिमला में) में स्वीकृति दी गई।

• योजना की अवधि है 1 जुलाई से 31 दिसंबर 2025।

• यह योजना ESIC के सामाजिक सुरक्षा कवरेज और अनुपालन को बढ़ावा देगी।

3. रूस तालिबान सरकार को मान्यता देने वाला पहला देश बना

• रूस ने तालिबान सरकार को औपचारिक मान्यता दे दी है।

• रूस ऐसा करने वाला दुनिया का पहला देश बन गया है।

• तालिबान द्वारा नियुक्त राजदूत की साख-पत्र (credentials) को रूस ने स्वीकार कर लिया।

• अभी तक अधिकांश देशों ने तालिबान को मान्यता देने से इनकार किया है।

• यह कदम दक्षिण एशिया और वैश्विक कूटनीति पर प्रभाव डाल सकता है।

4. डल झील में पहली बार खेलो इंडिया वॉटर स्पोर्ट्स फेस्टिवल का आयोजन

मुख्य बिंदु(Key Highlights):

• खेलो इंडिया वॉटर स्पोर्ट्स फेस्टिवल का आयोजन पहली बार डल झील (श्रीनगर) में होगा।

• यह तीन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय स्तर का कार्यक्रम होगा, जिसकी शुरुआत 21 अगस्त 2025 से होगी।

• इसकी घोषणा केंद्रीय युवा मामले एवं खेल मंत्री डॉ. मनसुख मांडविया ने की।

• इसमें 36 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से 400 से अधिक खिलाड़ी भाग लेंगे।

• यह आयोजन ओपन एज कैटेगरी में होगा, जिससे सभी आयु वर्ग को भागीदारी का अवसर मिलेगा।

• इसका उद्देश्य है खेलों को बढ़ावा देना, पर्यटन को बढ़ाना और कश्मीर में युवाओं को प्रेरित करना।

5. राष्ट्रपति ने किया 134वें डूरंड कप की ट्रॉफियों का अनावरण

मुख्य बिंदु(Key Highlights):

• राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने 134वें डूरंड कप 2025 की ट्रॉफियां राष्ट्रपति भवन में अनावरण किया।

• उन्होंने ट्रॉफी टूर को झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।

• अनावरण की गई तीन प्रतिष्ठित ट्रॉफियां हैं:

  • डूरंड कप ट्रॉफी

  • प्रेसिडेंट्स कप

  • शिमला ट्रॉफी

• यह ट्रॉफियां पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड, असम, मेघालय और मणिपुर के विभिन्न शहरों में प्रदर्शित की जाएंगी।

• डूरंड कप एशिया का सबसे पुराना फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट है।

6. गिफ्ट सिटी में प्रवेश करने वाली पहली यूएई बैंक बनी मशरेक बैंक

• यूएई की प्रमुख बैंक – मशरेक बैंक को गिफ्ट सिटी (गुजरात) में शाखा खोलने की अनापत्ति स्वीकृति (in-principle approval) मिल गई है।

• यह गिफ्ट सिटी में प्रवेश करने वाली पहली यूएई बैंक बन गई है।

• अनुमोदन प्रदान किया गया:

  • IFSCA (इंटरनेशनल फाइनेंशियल सर्विस सेंटर अथॉरिटी) द्वारा

  • संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के सेंट्रल बैंक द्वारा

  • भारत के अन्य नियामक संस्थाओं द्वारा

• बैंक वर्ष 2025 के अंत तक संचालन शुरू करने की योजना बना रही है।

• इसका उद्देश्य भारत-यूएई के वित्तीय संबंधों को और मजबूत करना है।

7. WHO की ‘3 by 35’

मुख्य बिंदु(Key Highlights):

• विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) ने ‘3 by 35’ पहल की शुरुआत की है।

• उद्देश्य: 2035 तक तंबाकू, शराब और मीठे पेय पर 50% टैक्स वृद्धि करना।

• इस पहल का लक्ष्य है:

  • हृदय रोग, डायबिटीज और कैंसर जैसी गैर-संचारी बीमारियों (NCDs) से होने वाली अकाल मृत्यु को कम करना।

  • अस्वस्थ खपत पर रोक लगाकर स्वस्थ जीवनशैली को बढ़ावा देना।

• यह पहल रोकथाम आधारित स्वास्थ्य नीति को समर्थन देती है।

• यह संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सतत विकास लक्ष्य (SDG-3) के अंतर्गत आता है — “सभी उम्र के लोगों के लिए स्वस्थ जीवन और कल्याण सुनिश्चित करना।”

1. Bharat Gen: India’s First Government-Funded Multimodal LLM

Key Highlights:

• Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh launched ‘Bharat Gen’, a multimodal large language model (LLM).

• It is India’s first indigenous and government-funded AI-based LLM.

• Developed specifically for Indian languages to promote linguistic inclusion in AI.

• The model can understand and generate multimodal data—text, speech, and images.

• It has been developed under the Bharat Gen Mission.

• Objective: Democratize AI technology for Indian communities and regional language users.

2. Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) launches SPREE Scheme 2025

Key Highlights:

• The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has launched the SPREE Scheme 2025.

• SPREE stands for Simplified Process for Registering Employers and Employees.

• The scheme aims to digitize and simplify the registration process for employers and employees under ESIC.

• It was approved during the 196th ESIC meeting held in Shimla.

• The scheme will be effective from July 1 to December 31, 2025.

• It encourages wider coverage and compliance under the ESIC social security framework.

3. Russia Recognizes Taliban Government

• Russia has officially recognized the Taliban government in Afghanistan.

• It became the first country in the world to take this step.

• Russia accepted the credentials of the Taliban-appointed ambassador in Moscow.

4. Khelo India Water Sports Festival organized for the first time in Dal Lake

• The Khelo India Water Sports Festival will be held for the first time in Dal Lake, Srinagar.

• It will be a three-day national-level event, starting from 21 August 2025.

• The announcement was made by Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.

• Over 400 athletes from 36 states and union territories will participate.

6. Mashreq Bank becomes first UAE bank to enter GIFT City

• Mashreq Bank, one of the leading banks in the UAE, has received in-principle approval to open a branch in GIFT City, Gujarat.

• It becomes the first UAE-based bank to enter the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City).

• Approval has been granted by:

  • International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA)

  • Central Bank of UAE

  • Other Indian regulatory authorities

• The bank plans to start operations by the end of 2025.

• The move is aimed at boosting financial ties between India and the UAE.

7. WHO’s ‘3 by 35’ Initiative

• The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched the ‘3 by 35’ initiative.

• Goal: To increase taxes by 50% on tobacco, alcohol, and sugary drinks by the year 2035.
